
November 2008 - McGovern Consulting Group, LLC, a Nonprofit Software & Consulting Services firm in the Mid-Atlantic region, announced today that David Kendall, CPA, has joined their team as a senior implementation consultant. Kendall will manage all aspects of software implementation, training, and client support.
“David brings extensive knowledge and experience as well as a strong accounting and software implementation background to the McGovern Consulting Group,” said Dennis McGovern, Managing Partner. “Having worked with David previously, we have seen first hand the extent of his knowledge, expertise, and range of abilities. With over 25 year’s experience, David has aided more than 500 nonprofit organizations throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. He has worked with Fundraising 100 (formerly Rainbow) from its inception and design and has also specialized in accounting, treasury, and financial software sales ranging from single user to multi-user large project team implementations. Prior to McGovern Consulting Group, Kendall was the principal of First Choice for Charities, a Sage Nonprofit Software implementation company that focused primarily on Sage MIP Fund Accounting, Sage Fundraising 50, and Sage Fundraising 100. Formerly of Vineland, NJ David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Mathematics from Rutgers University and a CPA certification from the State of New Jersey.
