About Us

Regional professional services firm seeks a qualified candidate interested in helping non-profits succeed through the use of software applications in the tri-state area (PA, NJ, DE). Consultants will be responsible for assisting clients in the implementation and on-going support of Sage MIP Fund Accounting

We are looking for the exceptional professional having a blend of accounting, technical, professional, interpersonal skills, and entrepreneurial instinct that is needed to be successful in the consulting industry.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Providing implementation consulting for Sage MIP Fund Accounting
    • Determining and documenting client system requirements
    • Assisting clients in the developing and improving of business processes and internal procedures
    • Designing accounting systems and chart of accounts
    • Developing creative solutions to challenging business issues
    • Provide IT support in the installation and upgrade of application
    • Assist with system evaluation to determine client workflows, documents and procedures to verify proper product usage
    • Write interfaces from one application into Sage MIP or Sage Fundraising 50
  • Training
    • Conducting hands on training for Sage MIP Fund Accounting modules either onsite or remotely
    • Education: Assist with education of new clients on product features so they can use the product and provide ongoing education as needed for existing clients
    • Provide telephone and/or on-site implementation support to clients, answering questions on function and usage of product
    • Client training
  • Implementation management
    • Ensuring that project goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters
    • Report on project status to clients and other project team members
    • Handle client calls and issues involving moderately complex issues

Requirements

  • Accounting degree and industry experience is a plus
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Organized, self motivated and detail oriented
  • Must be willing to travel locally and within the tri-state area
  • Understanding of business and information technology processes
  • Willingness to train and certify on Sage MIP Fund Accounting
  • Must possess reliable transportation for extensive local travel
  • Excellent Problem solving
